About Pivotal Pediatric Therapy

Meet the owner

Kayla Philbrick M.S., OTR/L is the owner of Pivotal Pediatric Therapy. She received her education from Lewis University obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Special Education and also a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. Kayla has over a decade of experience with young children in a variety of settings such as: schools, out patient clinics, autism centers, and early intervention. Kayla founded PPT on the basis of wanting to provide quality individualized care to children within her community. In her free time Kayla's favorite occupations are spending time with her husband, son, and pup Cooper, reading, cooking, and gardening.

Meet the Therapists

Ms. Ashley

 Ashley Godawski MS, OTR/L has been a pediatric occupational therapist for 3 years. Ashley is extremely passionate about the pediatric population and has seen firsthand the impact occupational therapy can have, through her brother having received services since infancy. She has worked in a variety of settings including: early intervention, outpatient clinics, and schools. She received both her Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Western Michigan University. In her free time, Ashley is often traveling, spending time with loved ones, staying active outdoors, and reading.

Ms. Nora

Nora earned her masters degree from Saint Louis University before beginning her career at a therapeutic day school in Chicago.  Throughout her career, Nora has worked with children of all ages, using her expertise to enhance their development and well-being in both school and clinic settings. She is passionate about incorporating her clients' interests into therapy sessions, leveraging their hobbies and preferences to effectively build and refine essential skills. Her favorite part of in home therapy is seeing clients in their natural setting and getting the whole family involved! In her free time, Nora enjoys exploring new parks with her two daughters, reading, and spending time at the lake.
